Learned counsel for the petitioners submits as follows: The petitioners are employed at the Indian Association for Cultivation of Science. The petitioners are aggrieved with the merger of two grades of employees. This, according to the petitioners, violates the notification issued by the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India. Accordingly the petitioners had prayed for consideration of their representation dated 30th May, 2024. But, no response

has been forthcoming. The petitioners would limit their prayer to consideration of such representation. The other prayers made in the writ petition are not pressed. Learned counsel for the respondent nos. 6, 8, 9 and 10 submits that the representation of the petitioner shall be considered in accordance with law. It appears that the representation dated 30th May, 2024 made by the petitioners is pending consideration before the concerned respondent authorities.

In view of the above, let the respondent no.6 consider the representation of the petitioner dated 30th May, 2024 in accordance with law and as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order.

With these directions and observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertakings.
