Case No.1097 of 2024 dated 07.11.2024 under Sections 21(C)/29 of the NDPS Act, 1985. And In the matter of:

Farhad Fahad Ali @ Fahad Ali ... petitioner Mr. Ankan Das Ms. Shradhya Ghosh ... for the petitioner Mr. Antarikhya Basu Ms. Rajashree Tah ... for the State Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that other than a statement of a co-accused there is no material present against the present petitioner.

Learned counsel for the State submits that charge-sheet was submitted long ago and a proclamation has been issued against the petitioner. Anticipatory bail of the similarly circumstanced co-accused was denied by this Court. Considering the materials available in the case diary, the fact that a proclamation has been issued against the petitioner and the restrictions contained in Section 37 of the NDPS Act, I do not consider this to be a fit case for granting anticipatory bail.

The application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of requisite formalities.
