Matter relates to transfer of Librarian in a school who has made application on Portal on 3rd September, 2022. However, transfer application of the petitioner could not be processed for other reason as indicated in a document which is at page 20 of the writ petition. During course of hearing question crops up whether notification dated 3rd January, 2022 issued by the Additional Secretary to the Government of West Bengal, School Education Department is applicable since petitioner being Librarian is working in a single post in the school. On perusal of the said notification dated 3rd January, 2022 it appears that the same is applicable to teachers only. The benefit of such notification dated 3rd

January, 2022 is not extended to Librarian. No other notification has been produced before this Court which fortifies case of the petitioner being Librarian seeking transfer.

Since petitioner is working as Librarian in the school which is a single post no relief can be granted. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
