It is admitted by the petitioner that the amount of Rs. 2,74,112/- has been paid to him in terms of prayer (a) of the writ petition.

It is submitted on behalf of the writ petitioner that during pendency of the writ petition a notice for payment of compound interest on the gratuity amount was issued by the Certificate Officer to the company on 10th February, 2022.

The said issue is beyond the purview of the present writ petition. The prayers in the writ petition having been met by the fourth respondent, nothing further remains in this writ petition for adjudication. Accordingly, WPA 17239 of 2021 is disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted.
