The Inspector-in-Charge, Cyber Crime P.S., Howrah Rural District has filed a report in the form of instructions to the State advocate dated 28th July, 2022 and the same is taken on record.

It appears that police have taken steps to investigate into the FIR No. 6 of 2022 dated 23.04.2022 under Sections 354C/509/120B of the IPC and 66E/67/67A of the IT Act. Three accused have been arrested.

This Court is of the view that there is no inaction on the part of the police. Appropriate steps have been taken to investigate into the FIR.

It is expected that the investigation is completed within a period of two months from date and final report has to be submitted before the Jurisdictional Magistrate.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
