The writ petitioner is aggrieved by the conduct of the private respondents in respect of his property. The private respondents are stated to have demolished the property and have effected construction thereof.

Counsel for the private respondents submits that the property has been constructed against the sanctioned plan of the Dum Dum Municipality of the year 2021.

This Court is not concerned with the dispute between the petitioner and the private respondents. The O. C., Dum Dum Police Station has filed a report dated 21.09.2022 and the same is taken on record. Proceedings under Sections 107/156(3) have been drawn up in this regard against the private respondents.

This Court is, however, concerned with the complaint dated 19th July, 2022 to the Dum Dum Police Station that a person claiming to be the

Chairman of the Dum Dum Municipality has threatened the petitioner over phone. It is submitted that thereafter further threats have been received by the petitioner from unknown persons over phone. Such threats have now subsided.

This Court, however, directs the Dum Dum Police Station to attend to any further complaint from the petitioner as regards any threat and intimidation. Dum Dum Police shall also ensure that there is no breach of peace in the area and shall maintain strict vigil thereat.

In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
