Ms. Sudeshna Banik .........Petitioner-in-person Ms. Dipika Basu ..........for the alleged contemnor Learned counsel appearing for the alleged contemnor seeks an adjournment on the ground that the order passed by the Division Bench in an appeal filed by the State Bank of India is not available with counsel. It is surprising that the petitioner, appearing in-person, has obtained a copy of the Division Bench order.

The Division Bench by its order dated 5th August, 2022 refused to interfere with the order passed by this Court and directed the State Bank of India to disburse the loan to the petitioner within a week from the date of the order.

The delay on the part of the State Bank of India has contributed to unnecessary harassment to the petitioner who has been deprived of utilizing her time for her course-work.

Since the appeal has been rejected by the Division Bench, CPAN 722 of 2022 is disposed of with a direction on the State Bank of India to comply with the direction passed by the Division Bench. The petitioner shall be at liberty of seeking appropriate legal recourse if there is further delay on the part of the State Bank of India.
