1. Considering the materials available in the case diary, the nature and extent of complicity of the petitioner in the commission of the alleged offence and having regard to the specific overt act of the petitioner in attempting to commit murder by strangulation, being prima facie disclosed in the FIR, and in the statement of the victim recorded under Section 161 of the Cr.P.C. and the injury report which shows ligature mark, which supports the statement of the victim, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
2. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected.
