Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, the petitioners are in custody in excess of twelve months. Police submitted charge-sheet and, therefore, further detention of the petitioners are not required. He submits that, other coaccused were granted bail by the Jurisdictional Court. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State refers to the statement recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure (Cr. P. C.) and under Section 161 Cr. P. C. thereof. He submits that the petitioner did not name the other co-accused, who were granted bail by the Jurisdictional Court.

Considering the materials in the case diary and considering the complicity of the petitioner in the incident, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM 6796 of 2021 is dismissed. (Debangsu Basak, J.) (Ananda Kumar Mukherjee, J.)
