Record reveals that this public interest petition has been filed by the petitioner with plea that on 12th September, a transgender person was murdered, 7 persons were charge-sheeted, out of them 3 had faced trial, resulting into acquittal of one and conviction of two, but 4 accused persons are still absconding and roaming around scot-free without facing the trial. Hence, a prayer has been made to direct the official respondents to apprehend the respondent Nos.4 to 8, so that they can be tried. Having examined the matter, we find that in the facts of the present case no direction to the official respondents as prayed in this public interest petition is required, who otherwise are required to take action in accordance with law and apprehend the accused persons. Such a plea in the garb of the public interest petition need not be entertained. Hence, we find no ground to issue any direction in

WPA (P) 333 of 2022 this public interest petition, which is accordingly dismissed.
