1. Heard learned Counsel for both the parties.

2. Considered the materials placed by them including the statement of the victim and her mother-in-law recorded under Section 161 Cr.P.C. (and victim under Section 164 Cr.P.C.).

3. In view of the seriousness of the offence, we are not inclined to exercise our discretion in favour of the petitioner under Section 438 Cr.P.C.

4. Accordingly, the prayer for the anticipatory bail is rejected.
