Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the son of the petitioner is missing for a considerable period of time.

Information has been furnished to the Officer-incharge of New Town Police Station as also with the office of the Commissioner of Police, Bidhannagar City Police.

State has submitted a report. Report reflects that steps are being taken by the police authorities. According to the enquiry which has been conducted by the police authority it reflects that there has been issue of voluntary departure of the petitioner's son along with a lady. To that effect several witnesses have been examined, missing

person general diary entry has been registered at New Town Police Station, Bidhannagar and case has been uploaded on Vatsalya Portal.

Petitioner's son is a major and prima facie enquiry is being conducted, if any information is received by the police authorities they would immediately inform the petitioner.

With the aforesaid observation writ petition being WPA 15838 of 2025 is disposed of.

Report submitted be kept with the record.

Copy of the report handed over to the learned advocate for the petitioner.
