The affidavit-of-service as filed by the learned Advocate for the writ petitioner is taken on record. 2.

Leave is granted to the learned Advocate-onRecord for the writ petitioner to add D.G. (SWM), Kolkata Municipal Corporation as respondent no. 4(a) positively in course of this day in Court.

By filing the instant writ petition the writ petitioner alleges that on account of illegal parking and encroachment of footpath by various tea stall, food stall, etc. in front of premises no. 32, Dr. Biresh Guha Street, Police Station - Karaya, District - Kolkata, Pin - 700017 she is unable to get free access to the aforementioned premises which is being used by her as a lawyer's chamber.

Learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner submits further that under cover of a letter dated June 25, 2024 the grievance of the writ petitioner

was brought to the notice of the respondent authorities but no action has been taken by them as yet.

In course of hearing learned Advocate for the writ petitioner draws attention of this Court to a circular of Kolkata Municipal Corporation dated 23.04.2019. 6.

On perusal of the entire materials as placed before this Court it appears that pursuant to the aforesaid notification dated 23.04.2019 no action has been taken by the respondent authorities more specifically by the Officers of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation to take an appropriate decision with regard to the grievance as agitated by her under cover of his Advocate's letter dated June 25, 2024.

In view of such, this Court directs D.G. (SWM), Kolkata Municipal Corporation to consider the letter dated 25.06.2024 as written by the learned Advocate for the writ petitioner as representation of the writ petitioner and after hearing the writ petitioner and/or her learned Advocate as well as other stakeholders shall pass a reasoned order on such representation positively with six weeks from the date of communication of this order. 8.

D.G. (SWM), Kolkata Municipal Corporation is directed to communicate its decision forthwith to the writ petitioner either through mail or by speed post. 9.

D.G. (SWM), Kolkata Municipal Corporation is further directed to act on the server copy of this order. 10.

Liberty to communicate.

With the aforementioned observations, the instant writ petition being WPA 16975 of 2024 is hereby disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all the necessary formalities.
