Bhakat, Advocate ......for the State The petitioner has filed the instant application for bail in connection with Chapra Police Station Case No. 376 of 2020 dated 07.10.2020 under Section 21(c) of the Narcotic Drugs & Psychotropic Substances Act, Commercial quantity of contraband has been recovered from the exclusive possession of the petitioner. He is in custody since October 6, 2020.

Since the possession of contraband above commercial quantity is shown from the petitioner, we do not find any ground to take exception to Section 37 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

As such, the prayer for bail is rejected.

The application for bail being CRM 6800 of 2021 is thus dismissed.
