Mr. Manik Lal Poddar ....for the petitioner Mr. N. L. Singhania, Ms. Sanchari Chakraborty ....for the respondents Mr. Singhania, learned advocate appearing for the respondents submits that the salary for the period from 1st February, 1996 to 27th October, 1996 has already been disbursed in favour of the petitioner. Such fact has not been disputed by Mr. Poddar, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.

As the petitioner's grievance has been redressed, no further order is required to be passed in the present writ petition and the same is, accordingly, disposed of. There shall, however, no order as to costs.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied as expeditiously as possible.
