This application is made seeking direction for expeditious trial before the learned Judge, Special Court (NDPS Act), Nadia at Krishnanagar vide NDPS case no. 68 of 2022.

Upon perusing the petition and upon hearing the learned advocate and considering the materials on record, this court is of the view that no fruitful purpose will be served by keeping this matter pending and directing servicing of notice upon the opposite party. Thus, this application under Article 227 of the Constitution of India is disposed of with a request upon the learned Judge, Special Court (NDPS Act), Nadia at Krishnanagar to dispose of the NDPS case no. 68 of 2022 within a period of 8 months from the next date fixed.
