The writ petitioners are aggrieved by the fact that the Tangra Police Station has not taken any steps to address the complaint dated 11th June 2021 against the private respondents.

Learned counsel for the State submits that the said complaint has been registered as FIR and is being investigated. In that view of the matter, investigation into Tangra Police Station Case No.179 dated 17th June 2021 shall be completed as expeditiously as possible within a period of 45 days from date.

The Police shall ensure that there is absolutely no breach of peace in the area and shall take immediate steps in the event of any complaint.

This Court also notes that the disputes between the writ petitioners and the private respondents are primarily civil in nature and the parties must thrash out such differences before an appropriate civil forum.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
