Perused the report filed by the Assistant Environmental Engineer, West Bengal Pollution Control Board signed on 10th December, 2024. Copy of the report is circulated amongst the appearing parties. 2.

None represents the private respondent.

The farm was physically inspected in the presence of the petitioner and the proprietor of the farm in question.

It was found that the farm caters to the bird capacity of about 2800. The farm is required to follow the guidelines which have been published by the West Bengal Pollution Control Board in accordance with

notification issued by the Department of Environment, Government of West Bengal dated 18th July, 2016. 5.

The representative of the West Bengal Pollution Control Board is directed to maintain regular monitoring of the subject farm to ensure that the guidelines in question are strictly followed by the farm. 6.

In the event it is found that the guidelines are not properly followed, it will be open for the authority to take remedial measures.

Report has been filed by the Officer-inCharge, Namkhana Police Station signed on 11th July, 2024. The Officer-in-Charge, Namkhana Police Station is directed to ensure that there is no breach of peace in the locality and proper peace and tranquility is maintained at all times.

The writ petition stands disposed of.
