Petitioner informed the Sonarpur Police Station in 07.08.2025 Court No. 35 M/L. No.751 Rakib respect of the private respondent no.4 not having cleared the long standing dues which was promised to be paid after the registration of the property on or about 22nd March, 2023.

State has submitted a report prepared by the then Inspector-in-Charge, Sonarpur Police Station which reflects that the police authorities were well aware regarding the nature of dispute and has found on enquiry that there is no incident of harassment.

Having considered that the police authorities have acted in terms of the situation, I am of the opinion that at this belated stage no interference is called for. If the petitioner is faced with further inconveniences, a fresh representation be submitted, police authorities would assess, ascertain and thereafter take steps in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 17001 of 2024 is disposed of.

Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
