Since the innocuous prayer of the petitioner is for expeditious disposal of BGR No.1915 of 2015 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 4th Court, Alipore, South 24 Parganas the matter may be considered without service of notice upon the opposite parties.

The opposite parties shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the case. Despite the order passed by this Court on 14th October, 2020 in CRR 2328 of 2019, directing the learned Trial Court to conclude the proceeding as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the date of resumption of normal functioning of the Court, trial is yet to be concluded.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that out of 8 charge sheeted witnesses 2 witnesses have been examined.

Since the matter is pending since 2015, the learned Trial Court is directed to dispose of the case within one

year from the next date of hearing fixed before him without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

The revisional application being CRR 2722 of 2024 is disposed of.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
