Order dictated by Apurba Sinha Ray, J.:

Learned Advocate for the petitioners submits that the investigation in the instant case is complete. Charge sheet has been submitted and further there is no sufficient incriminating material against the present petitioners. However, since the investigation is complete, they may be enlarged on bail on any condition.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for bail. He draws attention of this Court to the statements of the witnesses recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure wherein the names of the petitioners have been mentioned. 3.

We have considered the materials on record and the case diary. It appears that the petitioners have been named in the statements of the witnesses recorded under Section 164 of the

Criminal Procedure Code before the Judicial Magistrate.

Considering the nature and gravity of the alleged offence and the prima facie involvement of the petitioners therein, we are not inclined to allow the petitioners' prayer for bail, at this stage. 4.

CRM (DB) 2073 of 2024 is, thus, dismissed.
