Mr. Kar, learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that during the pendency of this revisional application before this Court, there has already been a direction for expeditious trial by the Hon'ble Supreme Court. The petitioner is directed to serve a copy of this revisional application upon Ms. Baisali Basu, learned advocate who ordinarily appears for the State.
Her appointment may be regularised by the concerned authorities.
The petitioner is not inclined to proceed with the instant revisional application, to that effect, written instructions received from the petitioner has been submitted before this Court. Let the same be kept on record. In view of the prayer so submitted by Mr. Kar, learned advocate for the petitioner, the revisional application being CRR 2653 of 2022 is dismissed as not pressed. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.
