1. Petitioners complain of violation of the order dated July 13, 2023.

2. By such order, we required the concerned Block Land and Land Reforms Officer to consider and decide the application of the petitioner dated November 9, 2020 as expeditiously as possible and preferably within a period of six weeks from the date of communication of this order to him.

3. Learned advocate appearing for the alleged contemnor submits a report which be taken on record.

4. It appears from such report that, concerned Block Land and Land Reforms Officer commenced a proceeding on August 28, 2023 in compliance with the order dated July 13, 2023 passed in W.P.L.R.T. 83 of Signed By :

CHINMOY CHAKRABORTY High Court of Calcutta 22 nd of July 2024 03:02:20 PM

2023 and passed the final order in respect thereof on September 12, 2023.

5. Apparently, such order dated September 12, 2023 was sought to be served upon the petitioners herein by ordinary post.

6. Be that as it may, since the concerned Block Land and Land Reforms Officer complied with the order dated July 13, 2023, we do not find any ground to proceed with the present contempt petition.

7. C.P.A.N. 1075 of 2024 is disposed of without any order as to costs.

8. It is clarified that, parties are at liberty to raise their contentions before the appropriate forum. (Debangsu Basak, J.) (Md. Shabbar Rashidi, J.)
