Banerjee) (Via Video Conference) Mr. Animesh Paul ... for the petitioner Mr. Supriyo Chattopadhyay Mr. Somraj Dhar ... for the State Mr. Ekramul Bari Mr. Kumaresh Dalal ... for the respondent no. 4 The petitioner was appointed on contractual basis by the school, being the respondent no. 4, from 1st November, 2017 to 31st October, 2019. Her service has been terminated as the contract expired on 31st October, 2019 but the letter of termination was issued after four months, i.e., on 27th February, 2020.

The petitioner submits that in 2019 his contract was renewed by the school but no contract paper was given by the school to her.

At that point of time the petitioner did not raise any objection. So this ground is not acceptable to this case.

Referring to a document at page 19 of the petition the petitioner submits that her contract was renewed from 5th November, 2019 and this document does not

create any impression in the mind of this court as to its veracity.

The termination letter was issued on 27th February, 2020 and this writ application has been filed on 8th October, 2021 and the ground for delay, as has been submitted by the learned advocate for the petitioner, is that he gave one reply requesting setting aside the termination letter which is thoroughly undated.

Therefore, I do not find any merit in this writ application and the same is dismissed.
