2. Despite service no one appears on behalf of the de-facto complainant.

3. Heard the learned counsels for the parties.

4. Perused the case diary.

5. Considering the incriminating materials available in the case diary including the statements of the victim and the injury report where there was a clear mention of the assault and the statements of pre-occurrence witnesses contained at Page 18 of the case diary, I do not consider this to be a fit case to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6. Accordingly, the application for anticipatory bail is rejected.

7. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance with requisite formalities.
