Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record. The petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that she is unable to enter her residence.

Learned advocate appearing for the private respondent nos. 5 to 20 submits that the petitioner has engineered number of criminal cases against the private respondents. Consequently the private respondents have been released on bail.

Mr. Sengupta, learned advocate appearing for the State submits that a long standing civil dispute is existing between the petitioner and the private respondents.

However, having considered the limited prayer which has been sought for by the petitioner for staying at her own residence, I direct that

Inspector-in-Charge, Kotwali Police Station would ensure that in case the petitioner enters her residence and is faced with inconveniences at the behest of any individual, effective steps be taken for ensuring the life of the present petitioner. The police authorities would also oversee that no breach of the peace or tranquility takes place and/or any untoward incident results because of the inimical relationship existing between the petitioner and the private respondents.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 16104 of 2025 is disposed of. There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
