It is submitted by the learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner that the petitioner is willing to pay the amount as assessed by the Appellate Authority by order dated November 26, 2024. It further appears that, pursuant to the said order, a revised bill of Rs. 13,59,656/- was raised, out of which the petitioner has already paid Rs. 7,53,840/-. The petitioner has now been directed by WBSEDCL to deposit the balance amount of Rs. 6,05,816/-.

The learned Advocate for the petitioner prays for liberty to pay the said amount in suitable installments. WBSEDCL does not oppose such a prayer.

Accordingly, it is directed that the petitioner shall pay the outstanding sum of Rs. 6,05,816/- in ten equal installments, the first of which shall be paid on or before September 1, 2025. The remaining installments shall be paid within the first week of each succeeding month until the entire amount is liquidated.

Needless to mention, the petitioner shall continue to pay all current bills regularly.

In the event of default in making payment in terms of this order, WBSEDCL shall be at liberty to disconnect the petitioner's electricity connection.

With the aforesaid directions, WPA No. 16122 of 2025 stands disposed of.
