Affidavit-of-service be kept with the record. It is the grievance of the petitioner that he made an application for his appointment as a dealer of fair price shop at Barasat, North 24-Parganas on 30th March, 2023 in connection with vacancy notification No.1130/SCF&S/BST/MR/2022 dated 16th September, 2022. However, till date the petitioner is in absolute dark as to whether she is selected on the basis of her application or not. She made a representation on 26th May, 2023 before the authorities but the representation remained unanswered.

It is submitted by the learned Advocate for the State respondent that the process of selection is still undergoing. Under instruction she submits that since the process is going on, it is not possible for the respondent to come out with the final result in respect of the petitioner or any other candidate. Having heard the learned Advocates for the parties, this Court finds that the State respondents have not reached to take the final decision in respect of the selection of MR dealership at Barasat in the district of North 24-Parganas.

In view of such circumstances, the instant writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to inform the petitioner as soon as the selection process is complete by the State respondents, the result of the application filed by the petitioner. The respondents are also directed to upload the said result in their official website. The petitioner will be entitled to look into the fate of her application from the website.
