Petitioner seeks anticipatory bail.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the complaint was lodged ten years after the marriage and that the petitioner was assaulted by the brothers of the de facto complainant.

Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the statement recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure.

Considering the materials in the case diary and considering the statement recorded under Section 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure of the de facto complainant, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail, C.R.M. 6815 of 2021, is rejected.
