1. The bank has approached this court with the pleas that the District Magistrate, Hooghly has not revalidated an earlier order passed under Section 14 of the SARFAESI Act.

2. This court is of the view that the petitioners should approach the District Magistrate by filing a fresh application along with the necessary compliance and affidavit as per Section 14(2). If such application is filed, the District Magistrate, Hooghly shall take appropriate steps, not later than 30 days from receipt of the said application, as it appears that on earlier occasion, an order had already been passed, but the same could not be effected due to pandemic.

3. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of.

4. All parties are directed to act on the basis of the server copy of the order.
