The petitioner being aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities has approached this Court to take appropriate steps.

Learned advocate for the State has submitted a report which reflects that in connection with Gopalnagar P.S. Case No. 558 of 2021, the police authorities

have submitted charge-sheet on or about 20th December, 2024 under the relevant provisions of law before the learned ACJM, Bongaon.

Having considered that the police authorities have already submitted chargesheet, I grant liberty to the petitioner, who has set the law into motion, to take appropriate steps under Section 173(8) of the Cr.P.C., if he is aggrieved by any act and/or action of the police authorities in spite of submitting the charge-sheet.

It is further directed that if any application is preferred, the learned Magistrate would dispose of the same within a period of 45 days from the date of filing of such application.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 17048 of 2024 is disposed of.

also disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the report. Let a copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate for the petitioner.
