Earlier this revisional application was called on 12.06.2023 when none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Today also when the matter is called, none represented the petitioner.
Ms. Debjani Sahu, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears for the State was directed to appear on behalf of the State. Her appointment may be regularised by the concerned authorities.
I have checked the subject-matter of this revisional application which relates to an order dated 28.06.2022. The order dated 28.06.2022 relates to an order granting ad interim bail in respect of two of the accused persons passed by learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Barrackpore. For challenging the said order, a specific provision is provided under the Act. The provisions of Section 401 or 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure cannot be challenged for cancellation of bail.
Accordingly, the revisional application being CRR 2659 of 2022 is dismissed.
Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.
