The petitioner on his superannuation has retired from his service as the Headmaster of a Higher Secondary School. The petitioner is complaining delay in disbursement of his retiral benefits.

To resolve the issues affecting the disbursement of the retiral benefits of the petitioner, this Court by the order dated July 07, 2023 directed the District Inspector of Schools (SE), Paschim Medinipur, the respondent no. 3 herein, to convene a meeting with the petitioner and with the school authority, such meeting was held.

Mr. Singh, learned advocate for the Staterespondents files a report of the respondent no. 3 regarding the outcome of the said meeting. The said report bearing Memo No. Law - 213, dated July 18, 2023, be kept with the record.

It appears from the said report that the respondent no. 3 after taking the facts and circumstances of the case into consideration has referred the matter to the

Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance, West Bengal, the respondent no. 2 herein for further steps to be taken.

The respondent no. 2 is directed to issue the pension payment order in favour of the petitioner in accordance with law as expeditiously as possible. W.P.A. 16607 of 2022 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.
