The instant application is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, praying for quashing of the proceeding of Hare Street Police Station Case No. 60 dated 24.01.2011 related to G.R. Case No. 288 under Section 120B/406/420/467/468/471 of the Indian Penal Code.

On perusal of the application and annexures filed therewith, it appears that allegation is serious and incriminating materials are there on record. Therefore, it is not a case whether the prosecution should be quashed at the threshold. Therefore invocation of jurisdiction under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure is unwarranted.

Accordingly the instant application stands dismissed on merits.
