Heard learned counsels for the parties.

The petitioner is in custody for more than 2 years and prays for bail.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner's father is in death bed since he is suffering from several medical issues and the presence of the petitioner is required at home for taking care of his father. Learned counsel for the State opposes the prayer. I have considered the material on record. It appears that the petitioner has been identified in T.I. parade. Prima facie involvement of the petitioner in the alleged offence transpires from the material on record.

This Court is informed that most of the witnesses have been examined and only examination of the investigating officer is to be conducted.

Considering the material on record, prayer for bail is rejected at this stage.

The learned trial Court is directed to expedite the trial without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

The application for bail is thus disposed of. Case diary be returned.
