Petitioners are aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities, as such approached this Court. Documents enclosed along with the writ petition reflect that an information was furnished with the Officer-inCharge, Haripal Police Station on or about 25.06.2024. State has submitted a report. Report reflects that Haripal Police Station case no. 422/24 dated 16.07.2024 was registered for investigation on the basis of the complaint of the petitioner no.1.

Having considered that the police authorities have taken steps at the relevant point of time, I am of the opinion that the grievance of the petitioners was addressed, as such further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted.

Accordingly, WPA 17063 of 2024 is disposed of. Report so submitted by the State be kept with the record.

A copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioners.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
