1. The affidavit-of-service as filed today on behalf of the writ petitioners is taken on record.

2. At the time of hearing Mr. Ray, learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the writ petitioners at the very outset draws attention of this Court to page nos. 54 to 56 of the instant writ petition being a copy of the order dated 02.04.2025 as passed by this Court in WPA 6353 of 2025. It is submitted by Mr. Ray that the subject matter involved in the instant writ petition is identical with the subject matter of WPA 6353 of 2025.

3. At this juncture, Mr. Ray took me to page no. 51 of the instant writ petition being a copy of the representation dated 23.04.2025 as submitted by the power of attorney holder of the writ petitioners. It is submitted that the respondent no. 3/authority may be directed to consider the representation dated 23.04.2025 in accordance with law.

4. Mr. Bandyopadhyay, learned Senior Government Advocate duly assisted by Ms. Banerjee, learned Advocate for the State in their usual fairness submits before this Court that the respondent no. 3/authority

may be directed to consider the representation dated 23.04.2025 in accordance with law.

5. On careful consideration of the entire materials as placed before this Court and keeping in mind that the writ petitioners are not challenging the said land acquisition proceeding, this Court directs that the respondent no. 3 to consider the representation of the writ petitioners dated 23.04.2025 in accordance with law and to pass a reasoned order after giving an opportunity of hearing to the writ petitioners and/or their authorized representatives.

6. It is made clear that the entire process as indicated in the foregoing paragraph is to be completed within three months from the date of communication of this order.

7. Liberty is given to the learned Advocate for the writ petitioners to communicate the server copy of this order to the respondent no. 3 forthwith.

8. The respondent no. 3 is hereby directed to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.

9. Before parting with, it is made clear that this Court has not entered into the merits of the instant writ petition.

10. With the aforementioned observation, the instant writ petition is disposed of.

11. Since affidavits have not been called for, the allegations made in the instant writ petition as deed to have been denied.

12. Urgent Xerox certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all necessary formalities.
