I find that the present case being Khandogosh P.S. Case No. 116 of 2015 dated 09.06.2015 entered in chargesheet under Sections 147/341/323/504/506/34 of the I.P.C. More than eight years have passed and the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement.

Having regard to the nature of the Sections in which the charge-sheet has been submitted before the Learned jurisdictional Court, I am of the view that further

continuance of the present proceedings being Khandogosh P.S. Case No. 116 of 2015 dated 09.06.2015 corresponding to G.R. Case No. 1889 of 2015 under Sections 147/341/323/504/506/34 of the IPC is unwarranted and the same, as such, is hereby quashed.

With the above observations, CRR 2496 of 2023 along with CRAN 1 of 2023 is allowed.

Pending application, if any, is also disposed. Parties to act on a server copy of this order duly collected from the official website of the Hon'ble High Court at Calcutta.
