The present writ application has been filed, inter alia, praying for revoking and cancellation of an order of inter-divisional transfer which was communicated to the petitioner by an order dated 9th April 2009 issued by the Senior Divisional Security Commissioner, R.P.F., S.E.Railway, Adra.

When the aforesaid writ application was moved, this Hon'ble Court on 29th July 2009 was, inter alia, pleased to refuse the interim order. Records would reveal that no steps have been taken by the petitioner since thereafter. More than 10 years have passed since the date of interdivisional transfer which is impugned in the present writ application. As such nothing survives in the matter. Accordingly, the writ application being WPA 12461 of 2009 is dismissed.
