The petitioner is unable to trace out records of the criminal case and as such has approached this Court. The case is of the year 1997 and the police station in respect of which case was registered was earlier falling within the domain of learned ACJM, Barrackpore. Petitioner submits that the case records were transferred in the year 2004 from the court of the learned ACJM, Barrackpore to the court of the learned ACJM, Bidhannagar.

Having regard to the nature of the prayers advanced, hardly this Court has any scope to interfere. Petitioner, if so advised, will approach the Registrar (Judicial Service), High Court, Calcutta for passing necessary direction upon the court concerned.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 16024 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
