Learned lawyer for the State opposes the prayer for bail and submits date has been fixed for recording evidence. We have considered the materials on record. There are ample evidence connecting the petitioner with the alleged offence of kidnapping for ransom and murder. Date has been fixed for recording evidence.

Keeping in mind the aforesaid incriminating materials and gravity of offence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

Accordingly, prayer for bail is rejected.

Trial court is directed to expedite the trial and conclude the same at an early date without granting unnecessary adjournments to either of the parties.
