Anwar Hossain, Ms. Sreyashee Biswas, Advocates ... ...For the State The second petitioner was not at the scene of offence and the first petitioner, being the mother-in-law of the victim lady has not been named in the 164 statement shown to us.

In view of the above, we are of the view that the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners should be allowed. We are told that the husband of the victim lady is presently in custody.

Accordingly, we direct that in the event of arrest, the petitioners shall be released on anticipatory bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand Only) each, with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom shall be local to the satisfaction of the Arresting Officer. The petitioners shall also be subjected to the

conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973. The petitioners shall also take leave of the jurisdictional police station before leaving the local limits of the Court. The second petitioner shall make herself available for questioning on every occasion as may be required. The first petitioner shall also be available for questioning as and when required by the Investigating Officer.

CRM 6852 of 2021 is allowed and disposed of in terms of the above.
