1. Heard learned Counsel for both the parties.

2. Liberty is given to the learned Counsel for the petitioner to correct the cause title of the instant bail application.

3. The allegation against the petitioner is serious as he took benefit of the simplicity of his friend Raju with whom the victim girl had romantic relationship and the petitioner is alleged to have opened a fake account in the name of the victim girl and he is further alleged to have molested the victim in a drunken state.

4. Regard being had to the nature of allegation, we feel there is requirement of custodial interrogation of the petitioner.

5. Accordingly, the prayer for the anticipatory bail is rejected.

6. The application being CRM (A) 2890 of 2023 is dismissed. (Chitta Ranjan Dash, J.) (Partha Sarathi Sen, J.)
