A copy of the order dated 17th November, 2022 passed by the Special Officer (Building), Kolkata Municipal Corporation has been produced in Court today.

It appears therefrom that the matter was taken up for consideration by the Special Officer and after hearing the parties an order of demolition has been passed.

The person aggrieved has challenged the order of demolition before the Municipal Building Tribunal, Kolkata Municipal Corporation being B.T. Appeal No. 90 of 2023.

In view of the aforesaid submission, there is no requirement of proceeding with the contempt application any further.

The contempt application stands disposed of.

The parties will be at liberty to approach the appropriate forum in accordance with law.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order be supplied to the parties, if applied for, as early as possible.
