Heard learned advocates appearing for the parties. It is the case of the petitioners/requisitionists that the Prescribed Authority has postponed the meeting which was called for the removal of Pradhan and in the meantime the statutory period of limitation under the Panchayat Act has already been expired.

Petitioners make a very simple prayer for allowing a fresh requisition for calling for the meeting in accordance with law for no-confidence and removal of Pradhan. If such requisition is made by the petitioners, the

Prescribed Authority will take steps in accordance with law and within the limitation prescribed under the relevant statute.

This writ petition, being WPA 17397 of 2021 is disposed of accordingly.
