Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that, the petitioners were falsely implicated. State and the de-facto complainant are represented. Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that, the petitioner took 25 lakhs from the de-facto complainant and made over rolled gold claiming it to be gold. The petitioner, thereafter, issued three cheques to the de-facto complainant, which were subsequently dishonoured on presentation.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioners therein, case for custodial interrogation of the petitioners is made out.

In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 3567 of 2022 is dismissed.
