Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the Union of India.

Having participated in a recruitment process, the petitioner approached the Central Administrative Tribunal, Kolkata Bench (hereinafter referred to as the 'C.A.T.'). It is petitioner's case that he had qualified in certain stages but has ultimately been ousted from the process as he was not awarded marks for correct answers since the Regional Recruitment Board decided to delete the question/s answered by the applicant/petitioner. 3.

The petitioner, therefore, has assailed the recruitment process before the C.A.T. which has fixed the matter for consideration on 01.09.2025 enabling the respondents to file their reply. 4.

The learned counsel for the respondents submits that they will be filing the reply within two weeks from date.

There is no situation requiring passing of any interim order in the present case since the learned

counsel for the respondents upon instructions submits that the process of the recruitment for the RRB in question has already been completed. 6.

Such fact is disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner/applicant.

In view of such submissions being advanced in the proceedings today, we find no scope for passing any interim order even before exchange of affidavits, more so when the matter is pending consideration before the C.A.T.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that this Court may direct for preponing the date which has been fixed in September.

We leave it open to the petitioner to make such prayer before the C.A.T. in the event of any urgency.

The Writ Petition being W.P.C.T. No. 155 of 2025 is accordingly disposed of. All issues are left open.

10. There will be no order as to costs.

11. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
