Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner claims that he is a co-sharer of an undemarcated property wherein he has been stalled from cultivating the land and/or harvesting the crops.

Learned advocate for the state submits that police authorities have already extended their cooperation and drawn up proceedings. But the nature of the status quo order so passed by the civil court is restricted. As such no interference can be made. Petitioner would approach the civil court for establishing his right on the land, particularly with regard to the cultivation and/or harvesting.

In case such an order is passed by the civil court, the police authorities would respect and obey such order.

For the time being as the petitioner and the private respondents are at loggerhead, police authorities would keep a strict vigil and would ensure that no breach of peace and/or tranquility takes place and no untoward incident results because of the inimical relationship between the parties.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 17119 of 2024 is disposed of.
