Considering the gravity of the charges and the fact that two minor girls were found to be leaving the alleged place of offence, we are not inclined to grant bail only on the ground that the petitioner has been in custody for two years and also the charges have not been framed.

However, since charges have not been framed, the Learned Special Court at Barasat is requested to make an effort in expediting the proceedings.

CRM 6882 of 2021 is disposed of accordingly.
