The petitioner alleges that the respondent nos. 7, 8 and 9 have participated in the tender process with regard to settlement of waterbody within the jurisdiction of the Additional District Magistrate & District Land and Land Reforms Officer, Nadia in spite of the fact that they are not eligible to participate.

The petitioner has submitted a representation dated September 29, 2021 before the Additional District Magistrate and District Land and Land Reforms Officer, Krishnagar, District Nadia praying for cancellation of the tender process.

The grievance of the petitioner is that the concerned respondent is sitting tight over the representation of the petitioner and no decision has been taken on such representation.

Mr. Mukherjee, learned advocate appears for the State and submits that the concerned respondent shall take a decision on the representation of the petitioner and communicate the same immediately thereafter.

After hearing the learned advocates for the parties and considering the materials on record, WPA 17402 of 2021 is disposed of by directing the Additional District Magistrate and District Land and Land Reforms Officer, Krishnagar, Nadia, being the respondent no. 3 herein, to consider the representation of the petitioner dated September 29, 2021 which is annexed at page 19 of the writ petition and dispose of the same by passing a reasoned order after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as all other interested parties. The said respondent is directed to communicate the reasoned order to the parties immediately thereafter. The entire exercise shall be completed by the said respondent within a period of two weeks from the date of communication of this order.
